When O.R.P.I. (Order of Professional Italian Restaurateurs), originated in 1984 in Milan as a non-profit organization, the goal was to promote, introduce, popularize and protect Italian cuisine on national and international level. The aim was to do so by offering a wide variety of traditional regional recipes, agro-industrial products and wines typical to this country and by preserving their traditional genuinity and original variety of flavors throughout time.

Looking back 25 years now, we think we made the right choice. By now the guide is a reality appreciated by both international entities and leading companies industry. within the food industry. In addition, their contributions have helped to increase business by spreading the cultural message represented by high-quality Italian cuisine. Every year O.R.P.I. promotes and organizes shows, meetings and conventions as well as shares experiences with industry operators, and the general public in Italy and abroad, including Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

It's clear that having specific professional and quality pre-requisites for the dlshes included in our guide is necessary in order to be affiliated with our Association. For this reason, the restaurants found in the O.R.P.I. guide can be selected rest-assured that you are in good hands.
